Dr. Ronen Jacovi – “The Cassini–Huygens Mission to Saturn and Titan”

Place: Tiltan, School of Design & Visual Communication, Derech Ha'atzmaut 65, Haifa

The Huygens spacecraft allowed humanity to see, almost "touch and smell" a somewhat similar world to Earth, yet still quite different.
In the search for answers to the origins of life and the evolution of life on Earth, humanity sent a spacecraft to Saturn –the most similar planet in our Solar System to Earth before life began here.
Come and get to know another world, that will one day develop life.

Dr. Ronen Jacovi (Faculty of Electricity – Technion) was a member of the Huygens spacecraft's scientific team and spent three years at NASA.
